Description:
Greenfield construction of a four power transformer load substation, a two generator unit transformer co-generation substation, and two interconnecting 144 kV transmission lines to support power demand in OPTI/Nexen base plant in Wood Buffalo area.

Project Scope:
- Design of one 144-13.8-25kV load substation (two 45 MVA 144-13.8kV transformers, two 75 MVA 144-25kV transformers, and one 144-13.8 kV cogeneration substation (two 85 MVA 144-13.8kV generator step up transformers), yard equipment, P&C building)
- Design of seven-breaker 144kV ring bus
- Design of two ( 2) - 200m 144kV transmission lines
- Design of 12 km of 25kV underground distribution lines, with 41 padmount transformers
- Design of all P&C, communication & automation and building services
- Civil and structural engineering of the site and all equipment
